Astound Internet Plans and Prices

Astound offers each plan two ways. The one-year price lock holds the price for 12 months, then regular rates apply. Price for life costs $5/mo more and keeps the rate for as long as you keep the plan. Both include a free modem and standard WiFi and have no contract.

Internet First: $9.95/mo for Eligible Households

Astound's Internet First program costs $9.95/mo for qualifying households. It includes 50 Mbps or 150 Mbps service (100 Mbps where 150 Mbps isn't offered), a standard modem, WiFi and free standard installation, with a one-year price lock and one month free. Eligibility rules are on internetfirst.com.

Astound Fees and Equipment

  • Modem and WiFi: a modem and standard WiFi are included. Gig speeds and above need a DOCSIS 3.1 modem with a 2.5 GbE port, which Astound provides.
  • Whole Home WiFi (eero mesh): included with 2 Gig and faster; $10/mo on lower speeds or for additional devices. eero Plus security is $9.99/mo.
  • Installation: self-installation is free where available. Professional installation is $99.95, free for new customers with coupon code FASTWIFI.
  • Contract: none.
  • After the promotion: one-year prices move to regular rates after 12 months; price-for-life plans keep their rate.

Do I need autopay for Astound's advertised price?

Yes. The listed prices include a discount for autopay and e-bill paid by ACH from a bank account. Paying by card doesn't qualify.

Is Whole Home WiFi included?

Only with 2 Gig and faster. On Gig and 1.5 Gig, standard WiFi is included and Whole Home WiFi is $10/mo.

Is professional installation free?
